Thursday (5/14) the 2020 Spring Lake alum application project was completed! We had a few wind delays, but as planned the exact dose of 249,000 gallons of alum was applied in a precise, uniform, and most importantly, safe manner. There is no greater measure of success than safety and Spring Lake project adds to our over 100 projects without a safety incident. A special thanks to HAB’s Alum Application Specialist (Tadd Barrow) for ensuring the our company Safety Plan is enforced and followed on all of our projects. This attention to detail and level of dedication is critical to successful applications.
This is the last of our daily postings, but check back periodically (or receive automatic notifications by entering your email address below) for additional project updates in the future. Thanks for your interest and for following our progress. Don’t forget to check out HAB on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram too. Finally, a big thanks to the Spring Lake community, the Prior Lake Spring Lake Watershed District and Barr Engineering for all of their support. This support is also critical to successful projects. We have definitely enjoyed our time here and look forward to beginning the nearby Upper Prior Lake alum project after Memorial Day!
